David decided to step down after continued growth was realized to embark the larger task of being recognized as a supportive husband and father. Now that his family is off to a strong start, he is back into his career passions of helping people make educated decisions for their trees.
David Gass formed Proper Tree Care, LLC. in 2008 and has worked in the tree care industry since 1996. He started at Fairfax Tree Service as the fleet mechanic and worked his way through every position. Eventually, he bought Fairfax Tree Service and Arboricultural Enterprises from a retiring arborist. After spending several years computerizing and raising the bar of quality he acquired the full complement of professional certifications, including a current ISA certified arborist (MA-4333A) and VA, MD and DC commercial applicator liscense.
